38 Competitions: Choice Competitions ed from the basic points (maximum 10.00) and the addi- tional points (maximum 10.00). Thus a maximum score of 20.00 points is achievable. ARTISITC GYMNASTICS - P LEVELS For detailed information on the exercises, including infor- mation on evaluation, listing of typical mistakes and the corresponding point deductions, please refer to the DTB handbooks ”Gerätturnen weiblich 2015” and ”Gerätturnen männlich 2015”. In German only. SCORING Due to different maximum scores in evaluation, the follow- ing conversion procedure applies to artistic gymnastics: • For the P levels, 5.00 points are always deducted from the judges‘ final score. • At Turn10® always 6.00 points are deducted from the judges‘ final score. This results in a maximum score of 14.00 points. For athletics and swimming, performances in the featured disciplines are converted using the DTB all-around chart, which is standardized for all age groups and performance classes (see brochure ”Mehrkämpfe 2008“). The calculation for translating the number of rope rotations to points is the same for men and women. In the category Easy Jump, 130 rope rotations equal 14.00 points and 0 rope rotations equal 0.00 points. Jumps with both feet over the rope within 30 seconds are counted. In the category Speed 100 rope rotations equal 14.00 points and 0 rope rotations equal 0.00 points. Rope ro- tations are counted on the spot within 30 seconds in a running step (speed jump, jogging step). Jump alternately with the right and left foot over the rope. What counts is how often the right foot touches the ground. The choice competition is carried out as an elective com- petition. A maximum of two disciplines can be chosen from one sport. Each discipline can only be selected once. The selection is made when the event is reported via regis- tration form Participant A1 in the section Competition by indicating of the respective competition number. It is not necessary to specify the level of difficulty for the P levels in Artisitc Gymnastics. This will be done on the day of the competition by registration with the judges only. The disci- plines offered with the given distances and requirements are independent of age and gender. The concept is quite simple: the exercises are put together according to your abilities. You only need to master those elements that you are confident in. For each apparatus there is an element catalogue for basic and advanced lev- els. This catalogue consists of ten elements or element offers per apparatus, from which the exercise can be com- posed. At the Turnfest, the basic level element catalogue is used. For each element performed by the gymnast, a basic grade is given (A grade). The more elements a gymnast performs the higher the sum of added basic points up to a maximum of 10.00 points. The judges will also award additional points (B grade) for each exercise and on all apparatus: up to 4.00 points for good technique, up to 4.00 points for good posture and up to 2.00 points for dynamics (exercise flow, overall impression, etc.). The final score per apparatus is calculat- www.turnfest.de
